Kootenay Divergent Recreation supports awareness around the self-exploration, and environmental exploration that we naturally engage with on a day-to-day basis. By connecting to nature, physical activity, following our passions, and interacting with our community, we have the opportunity to explore our own unique perspectives of the world. KDR strives to help facilitate the self-discovery that can occur during these activities.
Youth, neuro-diverse, and people with disabilities face a wide range of mental, emotional, physical, and social barriers that keep them from comfortably participating in all sorts of activities. Kootenay Divergent Recreation is here to help inspire and create access to recreational spaces.
